Let's Hear It For El' Nino
It really is too bad how the forces of El' Nino have reeked havoc and destruction on so many places on our little planet. But so far Mr. N's been pretty good to us folks in southern Ontario. This region has always been a pretty good place to live and work, but when you see what's going on elsewhere in the world, you realize how lucky we are. It was such an easy winter and this early spring has just been phenomenal. It is truly rejuvenating and has motivated me to write this spring edition of Film @ 11.
Change Is Good
1998 has proven to be a year of change and transition for Aldgate. We are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the formation of the "Aldgate Group" when Steve & Larry separated from their former partners at the Magnolia Group.
Not only have we been undergoing corporate and personnel changes, we have made some physical changes at our Aldgate Corporate Centre office buildings, 2100 Ellesmere Road and 1200 Markham Road. We have recently completed installation of new main lobby entrance doors and windows at both buildings. These new entrances now include handicap power door operators. We have also changed the colour schemes in the corridors of both buildings including the installation of new carpeting. We have also added some new mirrors to the lobby of 1200 to create a more spacious feeling. We have increased the man hours and the number of security guards to provide better coverage of the complex.
Our "Mini-Suites" continue to be very successful. We are pleased to announce that several of our Mini-Suite tenants have now expanded to larger premises. We always have one or two of these flexible little suites available in our inventory. No deal is too small for us.
I enjoy hearing from real estate friends I haven't seen in ages and former tenants who just phone to say hello. I am always looking for material, so if you have an article you'd like published, please call me. Get your creative juices going and send me some stuff!
